Quickfire Night is a fast-paced student presentation event hosted by the AusIMM Hunter Region Branch, designed to give university students and early-stage researchers an opportunity to present an original idea, research project, work-related insight, or industry relevant concept in an engaging way.

It encourages students and researchers to share their ideas and connect with others seeking a career in mining, resources metallurgy, geoscience, processing, sustainability and technology.

Win cash prizes, present to industry judges, free food & networking, location is Bar on the Hill and it is early semester with the exact date to be announced soon!

First Place: $250

Second Place: $100

Postgrad Prizes: 5-min presentation

Don't forget when submitting to include your full name, the degree you are studying or reasearcher status, what category you will be comepting in, a short abstract of your presentation (100-150 words) and a brief explanation of how your topic aligns with the AusIMM industrys.
